Adult/Child ratio

I did post this question in WDW with Kids but haven't had a response.
Does WDW have a minimum height/age (other than Speedway) to ride alone, as in in own row/car when parent is present?
We have terrible problems at LEGOLAND as they have a strict 1 adult per child ratio on rides, even if the child meets the height requirement (Dragon rollercoaster is 1m, but to ride alone is 1.3m. My 1.2m child is not allowed to ride in the seat in front if I am with my 1.1m child, she has to be with an adult)

It can vary from attraction to attraction, but typically the age for riding without an adult seems to be 7 years old. Adults are defined as anyone 14 or older.

There have been reports of WDW being more strict about adults (14 or Older) riding in the same row with children under 7 recently. There have been people who have said riding behind their kids in the same car no longer works.

We were just at Disneyland and (I can't remember which ride) but DH and I were in the back seat of the car and DD6 and DD12 were in front of us. They asked DD12 how old she was and then made her switch with one of the adults. Maybe they are more strict about it???

Hey this is just a random little bit of an unrelated question but I've noticed parents saying DD and then a number or DH and stuff. Is there like an etiquette to referring to family members? I assume Its Daughters and their age and h is husband. Is there like an official policy on that? I'm just wondering cuz I usually refer to my sis as sis I just wanted to make sure I'm not doing anything wrong

Its common usage on many sites but there is no official rule Sis is fine for sister people know what you mean. DD would be Dear Daughter, DS = Dear Son, DH = Dear Husband and DW = Dear Wife.

And the number after each is their age. :)
