ADR's Set - Menu Suggestion

California Grill - I can take or leave their entrées. You really don't even need them when you consider their amazing flatbreads, sushi and appetizers. I love the Spicy Kazan roll on the sushi menu and any seasonal flatbread is likely worth trying. They have nice soups, salads and a good but pricey cheese board. The Sonoma goat cheese ravioli appetizer is also a winner.

Mama Melrose's - I really hated my meal there, but the restaurant recently got a new chef de cuisine and an updated menu (which I think it desperately needed). Good luck with this one, and let us know what you think when you return.

Le Cellier - Are you going for lunch or dinner? It's been a while since I've been there, but based on past experiences, I can recommend anything they do with salmon.

Kona Café - Breakfast, lunch or dinner? I think dinner is their best meal. It's another one where entrées are unnecessary. A volcano roll from the sushi bar, that delicious pineapple bread, and a couple appetizers for the table would be my choice.

San Angel Inn - Again, it's been a while since I've been there. I had an excellent but surprisingly hot pork tamale the last time I dined there. I know people complain about the food at San Angel Inn being bland, but I can assure you, that tamale was not.

Mama Melrose's - I really hated my meal there, but the restaurant recently got a new chef de cuisine and an updated menu (which I think it desperately needed). Good luck with this one, and let us know what you think when you return. I have heard the same thing, taking a risk here.

Le Cellier - Are you going for lunch or dinner? It's been a while since I've been there, but based on past experiences, I can recommend anything they do with salmon. Dinner... my soon to be wife and I are really not big eaters when we go on vacation. We eat really small breakfasts so we are light and not bogged down by grease. We usually split a bigger lunch to save some coin. Dinner is where we let loose, we barely look at prices for dinner for the mere fact that we know we didn't swipe that card all day on snacks and stuff.

Kona Café - Breakfast, lunch or dinner? I think dinner is their best meal. It's another one where entrées are unnecessary. A volcano roll from the sushi bar, that delicious pineapple bread, and a couple appetizers for the table would be my choice. Dinner... first time staying in the Poly, for a small portion of our trip.

San Angel Inn - Again, it's been a while since I've been there. I had an excellent but surprisingly hot pork tamale the last time I dined there. I know people complain about the food at San Angel Inn being bland, but I can assure you, that tamale was not same, many complain about the blandness but my mole poblano had a nice kick to it.

I'm not a huge fan of leaving a gate to head to a resort, I know it's close but with a ADR at 5PM I'd rather just stay inside.

yeah... DAK is a tough one, I think it takes a completely different approach than the other gates. There are so many small nuances that make me love this park, it's still number 4 on the list for me, but not for any major reason or detriment.
