Calling all foodies... especially critical ones, I was wondering if you have any menu suggestions for ADR's coming up in July. I know there are some buffets so there is obviously no choice there.

7/9: Ohana
7/10: California Grill
7/11: Tusker House
7/12: Mama Melrose
7/13: Le Cellier
7/15: Kona
7/17: San Angel

7/9: Ohana - We always enjoy it!
7/10: California Grill - On the list!
7/11: Tusker House - We liked it
7/12: Mama Melrose - Sorry but, this is not a favorite. But, it all goes back to the Italian girl from NY..
7/13: Le Cellier It's good. I think it's over rated but you will get a decent meal
7/15: Kona - Never there...
7/17: San Angel - Ate there years ago and wasn't a fan. Due to recent reports it has been put on the try again list.

:)

I was there March 2011, unsure if the switch had occurred then. I just looked at the menu and that item is still there. I might join TiW to see if I can save some cash.
Ah well thats good it had been updated by then!

Have you Crush? If you did and did not like it then it comes back off the try again list...lol

No i havent, im not willing to try it again just yet but from what i have heard it has vastly improved!
For now though im sticking with La Cava ;)

I still have a few days on my spreadsheet listed as "casual days" which to me equates to eat a burger in QS to save some money. I tend to always order the same thing, which upsets me and I really want to go out on a limb and order items I wouldn't normally gravitate to.

My only gripe with dining, is I hate resort dining if I'm not near that resort... ie, I'll only go to Ohana if I have an MK day planned. I don't want to be in DHS then have to head over to Citricos for dinner, with the busses and such it simply takes too long.

Then I found it worth the risk.. for sure. There will be many who will compare it to the fare in their local communities and while I don't claim it to be 100% authentic food, coming from Boston... it's pretty good. If I lived in NM my opinion might be different.

I had the Mole Poblano... which had a great flavor, subtle chocolate tones, and a nice spice. The chicken wasn't the most tender piece of meat but it wasn't terrible.
