I am planning on going to O'Hana on May 18th, 2009. Is the new reservation system at 180 days out or 90 days out? When can I make my reservation?

It is 180 days for CRT, Chef Mickey and V&A.....90 days for everything else.

It's a 180 days for Chef Mickeys!?! I didn't know that! But I can't really do my trip itinerary 6 months out anymore b/c of the new calendar! It only shows three months in advance, doesn't it? Would it be too late to wait for the calendar before I book CM?

I thought I remember reading Chef Mickey's was one of the locations that was going to transition to 90-days over a period of time. It *had* been 180 days even while others were temporarily 90, and when they announced the official switch to 90-day ADRs, they froze the farthest date they were accepting at that point. When it eventually gets to the point where that date is 90-days out from the current date, it will join the other restaurants.

I'll have to look to see what JPVonDrake said when the change was made...

EDIT: Found it. Essentially what I said above was correct.

While we are replacing our reservation booking system, with the growing pattern of Guests booking their dining, recreation and tour experiences closer to their travel dates as they finalize their vacation itineraries, Disney has adjusting the booking window for those experiences to a 90-day period, effective December 23, 2008.

Currently, reservations for Chef Mickey's and Cinderella's Royal Table can be made up through June 19, 2009. Effective March 22, 2009, the booking windows for both locations will transition to the 90-day timeframe.

So the farthest out you can book is June 19th (which was 180-days when the change was made permanent on December 23). That date is now "frozen" and not moving any later until March 22, which is 90 days out from June 19th. At that point CRT and Chef Mickey's will be 90 days, too.
