ADRs & MDE

This question may be a little premature, but here goes.

At 180 days out I can make my dining reservations. I'm staying at AKL so I can make them for the following ten days (180+10). Previously I have always made my reservations over the phone.
I can obviously also book my ADRs via the Disney website. Can I also book the +10 online as well ?
At the moment, the website shows bookings can be made up to March 5th 2015 which is well outside my 180 window. At the 180 day point does the website change when you log into your MDE ? How does it work ?

Yes, it will magically change to include the next 10 days of your trip when you're 180 days out as long as your resort reservation is linked to MDE
