ADRs and Park Hopping

For once I actually have a legitimate reason to start a thread instead of just lurking and handing out sweet likes.

We have plans to visit WDW in September. With the new park hopping rules, has anyone had any experience with ADRs at a different/3rd park? So if I start at MK, then hop to DHS, is there a problem with then going to Epcot for an ADR that I’ve made? Or does that ADR park count toward your park hopping allowance? We often find ourselves making reservations at several of the Epcot TSRs in the evening and migrating over at dinner time but wouldn’t necessarily want to park hop to Epcot every day.

Are they still charging no-show fees? I know they warn you to book ADRs in a park where you have reservations, but I really don't see how it would be fair to accept a reservation in a park and then penalize you if you can't get in because of capacity restrictions.

I read somewhere that Disney is NOT charging no-show fees in the event of a park reaching capacity.

Even with the parks at capacity last week, they still were allowing PH (not to say that's in every case).

You can hop to more than one park in a day as long as the park isn't at full capacity. Epcot is the park that is least likely to happen at due to its size.

I actually didn't know that. So basically after 2pm you can hop as per usual as long as there is capacity.

As long as everyone in your party tapped into the park you have a reservation for that day, then yes.

And “capacity” in this case is different to park reservation availability. The last few days have seen park hopping continue even though all park reservations were “sold out”.

We have done that not because we are even thinking of 3 parks as much as we cruise into Epcot for a snack, etc.
We will plan park A in the morning (have reservations) and park B in the evening. Sometimes we take our break by going over to Epcot and walk around and get a snack, etc.

You can park hop as much as you like after 2pm. Lots of people have done the 4 parks in one day challenge since January.

When Disney 1st announced park hopping I thought folks were saying only 1 other park.
I realize there is the 2pm restriction but I am glad you can park hop to more than one park! Gives some flexibility.
