ADR's a quick question?

So, I've got my head around the fact that it is a good idea to pre book our table service choices way in advance of our stay. What I was going to ask was how do you know what hours the parks are open to book a park restaurant for an evening reservation? We are due over at the end of May 13 but the calendar for that time of year is empty, as are earlier months. As an example we will do the MK for our first day on a monday and would want to eat there in the evening before returning to the resort, but I dont know if its a late night or a regular closing? Can you stay in the restaurant once the park has shut even on non magic hours? Sorry for the questions but its a new situation for us this time round!

The calendar will be updated with official park hours prior to 180 days out. They usually get posted somewhere around the 190-210 day mark. You can stay in the park during extra magic hours with an ADR, but you will not be able to ride attractions without a current Disney resort room key.

Thanks for the reply, we will be staying on site so the magic hours are a bonus.

What I was going to ask was how do you know what hours the parks are open to book a park restaurant for an evening reservation? I use the previous year's calendar as an estimate. I also use touringplans.com crowd calendar which has estimated park hours based on previous years.

Just because a park is open late for EMH, doesn't mean all of the restaurants are open that late. If the system lets you make a ADR, then the park is still open at that time.

Can you stay in the restaurant once the park has shut even on non magic hours? Yes. If you have an ADR, you can eat after the park is closed and stroll out of an empty park when you are done.
