Hi, we are a party of 6 and have various ADR’s on our two week trip that 99% of which are just for the 6 of us...

However, on one or two of the meals we may have a friend joining us to make 7.
Question is if I make a reservation for 7 and they change plans at the last minute will there be a charge added to our account as there would only be 6?

I assume there is some understanding incase people don’t make it or are unwell etc but wondering from experience if anyone can comment?

If it helps places in question are Rainforedt cafe and T-Rex... thanks :)

Always err on the side of a larger group for ADRs. It’s much easier for the CMs to take away a place setting or move you to a smaller table than to add a chair.
It’s Disney, so they are used to not everyone being able to make it. We’ve had several occasions when one parent stayed in the room with a sick kid (so we went from a group of 6 to a group of 4) and have never had any issues.

Thanks, assumed that may be the case, it’s only for 2 of our ADR’s across 14 days so was hoping they wouldn’t be sad with me ;)

Having just the one person drop out probably wont change the size of the table you will be getting, just let the CM checking you in know theres been a number change. It matters a lot more when you are increasing the number of diners and that requires a larger table for your party of diners seating.
