Hi there

Please can you help me?

I think I read somewhere that if you are staying in a WDW hotel you can get ahead of the game with your ADR's by however many days you are staying?

If this is true please can you help me I am totally confused??? I arrive on 6 Sept 2008 and I am staying for 14 nights so when can I call WDW-DINE?

Sorry if this is a silly question, but thanking you in advance if you can help..

You can make all of your ADR's for your entire trip 180 days before your check in date. Here is a link that you can use to calculate the exact date.

PS calculator

It is my understanding that Disney will allow you to do up 10 days past your check in date so I am not positive if you will be able to reserve your entire trip on that one call but I would try to do so all the same.

Here's the scoop:

if you are staying off-site, you can call 180 days in advance and only make ADR's for that 1 day, then the next day you need to call again to make an ADR for that day.

If you are onsite, you can call 180 days in advance of your arrival date, and make up to 10 days of ADR's.

Cinderella's Table is 180 days out from the day you want to dine, not your check in date. We tried getting the reservation early by using our check in date, but were told to call 180 days from when we want to dine. We were able to make other ADRs 180 days from our check in date, however.

with those dates... BOOK EARLY...

Your traveling in the peak of what is known as "Free Dinning" and even though that status of whether it will be released to the general public is unknown, this package has already been offered to UK travelers and "bounce back" guests. If it is to be released to the general public, expect ADRs at most places to be viturally impossible to get following the release; which will most likely be early April.

Even if your not %100 sure of everything, at least book something, especially if your traveling on the Disney Dinning Plan. We saw several families turned away when "walking up" to Table Service locations. At Le Cellier and the Coral Reef (Epcot) we overhead hostess saying their first opening was a week and a half from now! You can always attempt to change ADRs if need be.

We made all of our ADRs prior to the release of Free Dinning to the general public and had our pick of times at every place we desired with exception to Coral Reef. A few weeks after the package was released, it was very difficult for some familes (especially larger familes) to get tables and change ADRs.

Certain TS location due book faster than others, especially Cinderella's Royal Table.

Definately. Disney says you can book up to 180 days in advance and some book up very quickly. Decide on your itinerary so you know exactly where you will be so you can book right on the 180 day mark. 14 day trip....NICE!!

Thank you all for your help, wow this dining plan is technical stuff!

We were lucky enough to get free dining but we normally go this time of year but I understand what used to be a quiet time now may not be so because of the free dining plan.

Still I would rather be in a packed WDW than anywhere else, sigh 6 months today and I will be on my way, yipee!!!
