i am looking at sometime next year to take my family to disney. I was thinking september or october for the lowerr crowds but it is also the time of rehabs. What is the best time of the year to go with lower crowds and less rehabs? i know that some rehabs just pop up out od now where but on the average. thanks

Well we've planned around last 2 weeks of October as it is Halloween so you get Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party.

I like the first two weeks of December.
Lower crowds, lower prices, and yet ALL of the Christmas Magic!

It's also a great break from the cold weather up here!

I second that! If you can wait that long, go for early December!

End of september is going to be cheaper than begining of october. The month of september is value season pricing. October is regular season pricing.

I USUALLY go to WDW in Sept.... I should be there right now :lol: BUT I am planning on going Dec 3-10, how are the DEC crowds for those 2 weeks... compared to the Sept crowds? Less, More?

I've been in September and October. The main difference I found was that it seemed to rain a lot more in October.

There will be more people than in September, that´s for sure, but it won´t be unbearable. The weather will be a lot more comfortable and the parks a lot more beautiful and with more things to see in them. Go for it, Jer!

First two weeks of December

I go that time also and I find the crowds to be quite lean. We very rarely wait for a line and its the perfect time of year. We wouldn't go any other time since we started going in the beginning of December. That is definitley the BEST time of year to go. I wholeheartidly agree with Brer and Maria!!!!

It's my favorite time to go too! I get to have my two favorite things at once. Christmas atmosphere and WDW!

Don't forget about the Meet in Dec. also!

If you go in December be sure to bring a coat, pants and long underwear! It can get real cold. Splash Mountain is not very fun in the cold.

Cold, we've gone the last four years and last year was the first year it go cold..........and we still wore shorts during the day but at night it was freezing. Just make sure you bring sweatshirts for the night time and maybe some ear muffs.......lol
