adding to your theme park tickets

I think I know the answer, but am just checking. If we buy park tickets with the park hopper option now for a trip later in February, can we add the water park + more to our ticket once we arrive? We don't have a "Magic Your Way" package because we're not booking the hotel directly through Disney (we're using DVC points).

I know we want to go to the water park IF it's warm enough to go. So I'm thinking of waiting until we get there to see what the weather is like. But I want to make sure that I can add that option after tickets have been purchased, since it's much cheaper than paying for water park admission à la carte.

If your planing to go only one day, it will be less expensive to just buy the one day ticket at which ever water park you go to. Walk up tickets are $58 + tax, for folks aged 9+($50 for those 3-9), while adding the water park option is $64 for each ticket. So you can save if you only go one day buy at the gate.

While true if that was the only option on the ticket, they mentioned they already have Park Hopper tickets. There is a discount if you have both options on your ticket. So adding Water Parks option is cheaper than a water park ticket.
