MEXICO: Decorates for Dia De Los Muertos around November 1, Las Posadas at Christmas, Mexican Indigenous People’s Day around October 10, and Mexican Independence Day around September 16. The outdoor San Angel is replaced with XIBALBA, a haunted walkthrough themed to the Mayan Underworld in which an actor dressed as Camazotz, the Mayan bat human hybrid, animatronic jaguars, and actors dressed as living mummies in jade masks jump out and scare guests. Olmec heads, Toltec columns, Aztec feathered serpent stair decorations, and Mayan “Temple Mouth Architecture” are displayed at this new attraction’s entry.
COLOMBIA: Guests cross a plank bridge from either Norway or Mexico to the drawbridge of a Spanish Fort with an inscription that says COLOMBIA painted in the three colors of the flag, yellow, blue, and red. Guests then ascend a ramp, cross the battlements, then descend another ramp and exit through a cave. The area guests have entered is a rainforest with Orchids and mist fans hiding within a hollow tree produced by a strangler fig. The centerpiece of the rainforest is Casita from Encanto. Within it, an Encanto funhouse for people of all abilities is located. Guests enter the turquoise door. From there, they can go up stairs that have transformed into ramps, slide down bannisters, swing on vines in Antonio’s jungle room (wheelchair swings included), spin on giant flowers in Isabela’s garden room, play music on pots and pans in the kitchen, lift weights in Luisa’s cavernous room, scoot around on Luisa’s secret coaster, piece together Bruno’s prophecies on his Vision Chamber, look at themselves in funhouse mirrors in Camilo’s Mirror Labyrinth Room, change the weather in Pepa’s Weather Observatory, push giant rubber Buñuelos and jump on giant foam arepas and mushrooms in Julieta’s Apothecary Kitchen Room, lay on the beds in The Nursery, and even take a break from the noise in Dolores’s Soundproof Room. Guests exit the house by going down a slide that goes through Bruno’s wall hideout and ends in a cave, which also holds Journey Through El Dorado. This short, enclosed junior coaster takes riders deep into the jungle to see El Dorado. Guests queue through an excavation site with several golden artifacts modeled on Muisca artifacts. They enter a cave and load vehicles themed to Jeeps. The ride starts out as a peaceful ride through the rainforest to El Dorado. Things take a turn for the worst as the vehicles go through catacombs lines with gilded mummies hungry for the brains and souls of guests. The mummies chase vehicles up golden step pyramids that serve as lift hills, past golden statues, and into a volcano that launches vehicles back to the station.
NORWAY: Across The Bifrost: Guests enter the Stave Church. A CM greets them, then opens a door to reveal a room with colorful lights moving about. They explain that This Is The Bifrost, And We Shall Cross! Guests cross Bifrost and enter Asgard. Thor and Loki do meets here. Guests exit by Bifrost, and return to the church. Welcome to The Museum Of The Weird! The exhibits are in dire need of help, The Candle is melting, the Plant is crazy, and Leota’s woeful. Help the museum! Por Favor! Mas Rapido!” Guests then enter a chamber with five doors, one of which they just exited from as ominous flute plays. This chamber is a alchemist’s workplace decorated with sigils painted on the walls, skulls and spell books on the shelves, a fog filled cauldron in the center, and show globes and plasma balls. Guests find The Wax Candle Man, who cries out in pain, “I will melt!” as frantic guitar plays. They help him escape from the flames by way of a door feeling maze. If they touch a hot door, there is fire behind it. Then, guests avoid the tendrils of the Man Eating Plant in a Laser Maze themed to a greenhouse. Finally, they find Madame Leota, who weeps, "Oh! My lost orb in my cart. I need it to do my magic!” Guests then navigate a mirror maze to find The Orb inside of the wagon. At the end, Leota says’ “Gracias!” Guests exit through a small chamber lined with suits of Conquistador armor, portraits of Spanish kings and queens, Witches Sabbath and Saturn Devouring His Son by Goya, and carved faces of Spanish warriors, all of which seem to watch guests as they pass. The organ music from the beginning hauntingly plays on an echoing loop along with the guitar. Alhambra Tapas Bar sits in front of the palace.
