Adding additional days to your Park Hopper Tickets

I am going down to Disney in December and will be there for 10 days / 9 nights, as of right now I purchased a 9-day park hopper ticket. I am toying with the idea of adding one more day to make it a 10-day ticket. Is this something I have to decide before a certain point or can I just go to the front desk while I am down there and have them add it for me??

Since ticket prices are going up, here's one I don't know the answer to:

The tickets are already purchased as part of a vacation package, but what price would I pay if I were to add on after I began using the ticket; the price of those add ons at the time I bought the ticket, or the current prevailing price the day I chose to upgrade?

I was in WDW this past December and was scheduled to fly back to NYC on 12/27. But due to a severe snow storm in the northeast, I was "stuck" in WDW for an additional 4 days. We had used all of our days of a 5-day Park Hopper. We were able to add the additional days for $5 per day, per person. I thought it was a great deal!

(But no such luck on room costs. We were required to pay full price which was about twice as much as the price I was paying the previous 5 nights on our package with free dining. But hey, I was still at WDW with a surprising extended stay!:sohappy:)

You will pay the current prevailing price the day you choose to upgrade.
