Adding a day to my ticket

So I bought a 5 day hopper for my sister at AAA and now she is thinking about adding a day to her stay. I called AAA and they said they can't do that. So, can I upgrade it at the park and pay the difference or will she have to buy a one day ticket?

Yes. It's a simple transaction that can be done at any theme park ticket window or Guest Relations.

It will be very easy for her to add a sixth day, and will only cost her about $2 or so.

Now for the complicated part. Are the tickets discounted as compared with the Disney "sticker price"? If the tickets are discounted, then what you want to do is use the ticket at least once first, and then add the extra day. If you add the extra day before you use the ticket, you will have to pay the difference between your discounted price and the sticker price, plus the price difference between a 5-day and 6-day ticket.

It's just one of the many quirks of the Disney ticket system.

Just make sure to do the upgrade within 14 days of using the first day or they won't be able to make changes.
