Actors Strike and the Candlelight Processional.

Morning gang! Another brain fart; since the actors are on strike, how do you think it will effect the Candlelight Processional? Since the actors are walking the picket line, would performing the CP be crossing the line? If it is, what would you think WDW will do? I know the choir is the local schools, so they would be there. Are the employees that make up the tree, and the "Voices of Liberty" union? Do you think they would cross the line and perform? My DW and I go in December and really look forward to the CP. Feel free to give me your opinions.

Some of it will come to their personal choice of solidarity if the Strike is still going on by then.

If a performer is there as themselves, a celebrity and not promoting anything than there is not much concern. They are a human agent and allowed to be a VIP or Guest/paid for appearing.

What they cannot do is promote past, present or future work.

As mentioned, some may stanad with solidarity and feel it is not worth it to show up.

Some may even be bored and want to take the check.

Also, I think because of this there is a good chance you will see far more appeal to authority in the Superbowl Ads at the start of next year.

Arent Disney performers still performing now? Shouldnt impact CP much. If celebrities choose not to show up Dis can throw in a substitute. Guests will still show up even without big name narrators.

I hope the strike is over and the writers get the love they deserve but the one bright side to all of this may be NPH not coming to Epcot. I would rather see 100 drunks walking in unison through World Showcase than that vile man.
