Activity on River Country and old Discovery Island

Mystery solved:

Someone had a party on the Ft. Wilderness beach that night and had a special fireworks show. We had to close that dock for about a hour while they fired the fireworks, and prior to & after that, we had to go north of Discovery Island to avoid the barges.

Was anything special done with the "waiting to be infected with bird flu" chickens in the little cage behind River County during the fireworks show? Seems like something that would scare the cluck out of them. :lookaroun

So I'm assuming that's what the random fireworks were that we could see from Tomorrowland a few nights ago?

My fellow cast members and I were quite perplexed... haha.

We will be there the 2nd to the 9th. We were there in '06, the first week as well and the weather was cool, but nice. We wore jackets to the fireworks but coming from South Dakota we didn't mind. Our kids still went swimming although I thought it was chilly. The pools are heated so that helps.
