There’s no drills but get video training on computer. My other question is do cast members ever receive training on what to do during an active assailant situation (e.g. "Run, Hide, Fight" or something along those lines)?
My assumption would be a virtual training, we do that every year at the company I work at.There’s no drills but get video training on computer.

Yes I recall video training when I trained at MK. In most cases there was a code, certain codes meant get people into the Utilidors.
It wasn't just a balloon that caused the incident.I suspect balloons are about to be axed, possibly overnight. They can't take the risk of this happening again.
Correct, the sheriff's office initial reporting indicates it was a combination of a fight, which happens nearly nightly at this point, and a balloon popping. Presumably, someone saw the fight, heard the balloon pop and assumed it was a gunshot. This quickly escalated, someone/some people may have screamed "GUN!!" and word got around that there was a shooter. It doesn't take much to cause a stampede in crowded settings like that.It wasn't just a balloon that caused the incident.
There is more to it than that as other things occurred that led to the panic, but this is the story they are going with.Correct, the sheriff's office initial reporting indicates it was a combination of a fight, which happens nearly nightly at this point, and a balloon popping. Take the balloon out of the equation, and there would be no suspicion of an active shooter.
