I have read a lot that the wand against Epcot was a bad decision but why? I always liked the wand - I thought it looked amazing.
do you ever stop?
I agree with you completely. I could have done without the stars sprinkled directly on SSE, but other then that it was a very upbeat and clever way to connect Epcot and Walt Disney World. You hear complaints all the time about how people don't seem to know that Epcot is part of WDW, so they put something up, that, albeit accidental, ties the two and you would think that someone killed a close family member. I loved the original and if they could find a place to relocate the graveyard in front we could have it back.I have read a lot that the wand against Epcot was a bad decision but why? Mickey didn't hear the golfer yell, "FORE!" until it was too late...Think back to when Epcot had the horrendous magic wand next to Spaceship Earth.
We all hated it...but...did anyone else get the macabre impression that Mickey was dead?
Look at it. Just LOOK at it.
Spaceship Earth fell from the sky....and landed on Mickey. He's there thrashing his arm about, waving his wand trying to cast a spell to get it off of him. Even worse is the "Leave a Legacy" graveyard is shaped in such a way that makes the area look somewhat like a giant impact crater.
Help never came. Mickey died, and the Circle of Life did it's job....and to quote Mufasa, Mickey's body "became the grass", which explains all of the greenery growing up around the arm.
Guess you didn't hear the warning about the brown acid eh?
The hand looked ok, but to me came off cheesy and did not go well with the Nut.
And sometimes you don't.And sometimes you feel like a nut...
How do you know it was accidental?
That impact must've been hard as it took his other glove and for some reason his BAH Landed in front of the Great Movie Ride never to be removed again....
