If you looking at the airlines your best bet is Southwest Airlines or Song.

I just got my 5 Day Park Hopper Pass at the Disney Store last night for $244 tax included. It cost's about $15 more if you buy it at the park.

As far as park tickets go, if you are planning on staying on property ( A Disney resort) then your best bet would be to get an Ultimate Park Hopper pass. This pass is for your length of stay and allows you to go into the four parks, water parks, Disney Quest, and Pleasure Island. I think this would be the cheapest way out, and if you get them on Disneyworld.com before you get there, they will be cheaper than if you were to get them when you get there. If you are looking just to go to the parks, then getting them before you get there is key and you can find them all over the web, Disney Store, or DisneyWorld.com.

Thanks JetBlue actually ends up being cheaper for me than southwest even though I have to go from Boston. Now what about park tickets. Is there any discounts for them. 244 is a little high for a college student. :)

Four day park hoppers are nice and cheap, but they only get you into the parks. They run about 200 with out tax. Three days would be good too, but they don;t offer those. Remember, buy before you get there.

Hartford is about 90miles away from me and Boston is only about 50 so it is much farther. The best is Southwest because they leave from TF Green which is only 10 minutes from my house but they are more expensive.

Flying to Disney is very high this year. I am planning on going but the extra cost might not work. Its 255 From Newark NJ right now in Dec. I have never paid over 180.

oh ok.
Also, remember to factor in the Parking rates at Logan @ $22 a day vs. $56 a week at TF...

If you do fly JetBlue out of Logan, you will love em, excellent service, and Terminal E isnt even crowded, and security lines are always short..

I just flew JB on Tuesday for a short business trip to Orlando, and we only had 36 people on the flight.. It was great, and cheap

I would check out Hartford anyway. Friend of mine just did the reverse trip and he found tickets through Hartford significantly cheaper. It's not that hard to get to Bradley (Hartford), either - there are shuttles.

I havn't checked the prices in a few weeks, but they were running a bit less that they were a year ago. Especially with JetBlue and Song moving in. But don't expect those cheapos to last - it sounds like there is not a lot of fare warfare going on at Logan, and that will drive the prices up at Green, too.

I'm heading down on Sunday morning, and I booked my tickets on Song, flying out of Boston... and it came to $174 with all the taxes and stuff.... I think thats a pretty nice price.

On my Day trip on Tuesday, my airfare came to $132 total, and I just got a price of $155 for July on JetBlue... Not bad at all

Well if you are getting your tickets at the last min then yes you will find rates over $175.

If you plan well like I did you can save a ton. I booked our trip to WDW back in the end of March. The fare is $115.20 for a non stop flight from PVD to Orlando. Eventhough I live in the Boston area and I have to drive to PVD it's still going to be cheaper. The parking is $47 when you reserve early. There are 3 of us going so roughly $15 per person added to the total is $130.20 round trip.

Book early if you can and you can get GREAT Deals!

Have a magical day!

A year and a half ago it was something like $209 WITHOUT any of the taxes! I don't mean to look a gift horse in the mouth, but those kinds of fares really are probably totally unprofitable for the airlines.

Three day hopper tickets DO exist. You can get them thru AAA, plus Disney Store sells them. My aunt bought one for my cousin as she was down here on vacation this past week.

there's no such thing as a cheap Disney ticket.. plain and simple.

The most you'll save with no catch, is generally no more than 5-7% off gate prices...

...now if you don't mind a catch, go to some off-site timeshare presentation for a day, and get tix for like $30

For park tics try calling National Car rental, the cheapest ive seen, and you dont have to rent a car to get the bargain. you pay over the phone and pick them up at the ticket window at the park.
You can fly Southwest for $49 each way if you have time to wait for the sale.

I was going to recommend Maple Leaf Tickets as well. Kingdom Konsultant uses them on a regular basis for her clients and has never had a problem. Just tell them that Pam ( Kingdom Konsultant) sent you!! Belle

AAA- maybe, but the Disney Store doesn't sell them. It's my understanding that you can only get these via special groups, conventions, etc, and only during certain times of the year. It's very unfortunate.

Once you get to WDW, though, you can get a 3 Park/3 Day pass, which gives you a slight discount if you're going to 3 different parks, each on a different day, in a span of 6 days (I think). You can't hop with these, though.

:)
