About to make final payment...

I'm about to make the final payment on our trip, but before I do, I'm wondering...is/are there any special discounts, offers, rebates, anything that I should be asking for prior to paying off the trip? Not that I'm looking for something for nothing, I'm more than willing to pay what I owe. Just thought maybe someone on here would have some insider info. We're arriving 09/24 and staying till 10/01.

Also...anyone know if Disney has outsourced it's call center?

Thanks...

Sometimes discount codes are posted here, but you may want to check Mousesavers.com to see what discounts are available during your stay. Currently, I don't think any discount rates have been released for check-in dates past August 2nd. Even if you pay for your trip now, and a discount later becomes available, you can apply the discount and either get a refund or a credit on your account to use during your stay.

I can confirm that Disney has NOT outsourced it's reservations call centers. There are 2 main call centers in Florida, one in Orlando and one in Tampa. There also are two overflow call centers in Huston, TX and Salt Lake City, UT. The overflow centers are utilized only during heavy call volume or in the event of an emergency closing one of the Florida offices.

Your best source of discount offers is going to www.disneyworld.com and clicking on Tickets and Reservations, then on Special Offers. You also may wish to look in your local newspaper or in TV or magazine ads for discount marketing offers. Remember, we at the Disney Reservation Center cannot proactively offer any discount marketing offers to our Guests, you yourself must see the marketing offer first and ask for it by name or offer code.

You must be an Annual Passholder at the time of booking to take advantage of any Annual Pass (AP) discount offers. At least one (1) adult staying in the room is required to show proof of having an Annual Pass upon check in.

Note, even after you make a final payment, you can still modify your reservation to take advantage of any discount marketing offer you are eligible for. If you do make a change to a Vacation Package within 44 days or less prior to arrival that does results in a lower total package price you will be subject to a $50 change fee. However, most discount offers will be greater then this fee and therefore it would be worthwhile to make this change. Also note that any change to a Vacation Package made within 14 days or less prior to arrival will be subject to a $10 special handling fee to cover the shipment of new documents to your Resort Hotel.

JP-Thanks for the info!!! I'm very glad to hear that the centers are not outsourced. I had called three times in the same day and got CM's that weren't very freindly and 2 had an accent, so it got me thinking...

I wonder if I talked to you today when I paid my trip off? Very informative and friendly...
