ABC goes to Disney World

I think we're all well aware that the ABC network is closely affiliated with the Disney Company, but am I the only one who gets a little annoyed when ABC shows go on location in Disney World? I love the fact that they're there because we get to see some good shots of the parks and attractions, but it's just a pet peeve of mine that for any show that's there, let's say the cast of "Full House" for example, they portray their family as having their run of the park with practically no wait on line and they get every privilege or perk of being a WDW guest. I know it's just a show, but still that just drives me up a wall.

Propably.

I hope they have a collection of these on DVD someday, I would love to see all the different ones out there.

Thats funny....I rememeber an episode of Boy Meets World where the two main characters go to Epcot and basically have the entire place to themselves......they even spend time with the dolphins at Living Seas without any trainers around....it was a good show though....and i LOVE Topenga, she is very hot:)

My favorite is the Rosanne one where Darlene -- who hated the idea of the trip and Disney to begin with -- ends up hanging out with Pooh in Epcot like best friends.

And I don't think I need to point out that, if you go early enough in the day now to Epcot, you, too, can have the place mostly to yourself! It was dead the third week of August. Got there at opening, five minute wait for Test Track and walk-ons to almost everything else until it started to pick up around noon!

My favorite was the family matters one where steve was in the invention convention so he turned into steffan and then laura breaks the machine so he is stuck as steffan for a while and then he rides up in a carriage and gives laura a glass slipper and asks her to marry him all in front of the castle.

It's not just ABC. NBC had their share in the parks as well. I can't believe I'm going to admit to remembering this, but I blame it on my sister because she loved the show. But Blossom went to DL once. All I remeber is Joey Lawerance knocking himself out with the sword in the stone.

If memory serves Blossom was a touchstone production, and Touchstone is part of Disney's TV and film division. If you took the studios tour, on the back lot was blossom's house along with the Golden girls house and The Golden girls was a touchstone production and on NBC

I saw that! I bet they filmed at a really early hour, since NO ONE was around. They had them talking above the tank at TLS, from what I recall, and then hookin' up in the plaza by the old fountain.

Correct me if I'm wrong (which nowadays seems like I am a lot), but I think that most of those shows (like Full House and Family Matters) taped their episodes at WDW before ABC and Disney were one family.
