ABC Commissary (3rd shift)

Well, I ate a burger and fries there and it was totally disgusting. My family normally eats burgers at the parks and we like them a lot. So, as you can see we don't expect much. Anyway, I ordered one at the ABC Commissary and it was so bad I had to throw it away.

Hey, I totally agree. The burgers at MGM are simply awful. The ones at MK (Pinocchio Haus/Cosmic Rays) and Epcot (American Pavillion) are totally different and a thousand times better. Plus, at MK, you get a topping bar and free cheese sauce, whereas in MGM, you have to pay a buck extra for a small bowl of cheese sauce.

I've had a burger at both the ABC Commissary and the Backlot place as well as chicken nuggets at the Commissary and so has my Love. All of it was pretty much inedable. Different times spaced months apart - same crappy food. Something about the burgers served at MGM is just wholly different from the ones you get at MK and Epcot. (I can't comment on AK since I've never had a burger there.)

Sorry but we went to the World every weekend practically for a year and always eat burgers and fries when there and there is a marked difference in all of my experience.

Yeah really, has anyone heard about the bomb. im doubting that it was true but i can see everyone wanting to cover this up so there isnt a huge panic.

You can't say a place has terrible food based on one experience from one item on the menu.

Over the years I have been three four times and had the Brazillian dish (bland), the burger (bland) and the fish and chips (once dull and last week bloody dreadful).

Sorry Studios, but the counter food is even worse than Magic Kingdom.

If it was covered up, it would leak, leading to HUGE trouble for Disney. They aren't the government, they can't hide arrests. It didn't happen. Period. End of thread.

I've eaten at the ABC Commissary every year, and I think it's awful!! We eat there just because MGM really doesn't have anything else for a quick lunch. What's up with their chicken nuggets? It's like pre-white meat McDonald's :hurl:

I'd liek to place a bomb in the ABC Commisary, the food there sucks, always has and it always will. Not to mention who really wants to eat with the theme songs from old ABC shows playing on what seems to be a 5 minute loop gets really annoying.

The ABC Comissary is not their as a traditional fast-food chain. Why they even have traditional fast-food is beyond me. If you want chicken strips or burgers in MGM, go to the Backlot Express. Here they have different food. My suggestion is that you judge the place by it's different food and not the food you could have gotten at the Backlot Express.
I can understand if you don't like the TV loop, but keep in mind that one of the main reasons they have the ABC Comissary is to promote ABC. For most meals, You'll end up seeing the loop 2-3 times. I do think this is at least better than the Great Movie Ride Loop (which you may end up seeing 4+ times).
