They obviously didn’t do great in the whole concept of what the story truly is .
I'd argue that it is the second most popular omnimover on property, behind Mansion.
Lousy doesn't mean unpopular as far as wait times are concerned.2nd place out of 5?
I don't know throughput stats and overall favorability among guests but it's one super lousy attraction, omnimover or not.
Lousy doesn't mean unpopular as far as wait times are concerned.
Haunted Mansion = consistent wait times throughout the day
Buzz Lightyear = consistent wait times throughout the day... Usually around 35/45 minutes.
Spaceship Earth = goes up and down throughout the day
Little Mermaid = < 15 minutes throughout the day
Nemo = < 15 minutes throughout the day
thats a fair point. Given the 2 seats per vehicle. That doesn't necessarily tell you that much, because even though they're all omnimovers, they all have different hourly capacities.
I could be wrong and someone with more knowledge can correct me, but I believe Buzz has a tiny hourly capacity. Like less than 1000 per hour theoretical, compared to Haunted Mansion which is 3000+. I think Nemo, Little Mermaid, and Spaceship Earth are all 2000+.
*gasp* You mean I might not be as bad as I am compared to my video game-addicted DH and teen sons--I might be able to blame my poor showing on the equipment??!! I'm going to use that as my excuse next time we are go as a family!
I agree about having a good gun—although I think the bad must totally outnumber the good at this point I know quite a few of the “secret targets” but DH and game-addicted teens have figured them out tooOh, absolutely! The difference between a good gun and a lousy gun is night and day. Many times over I have maxed the score, but not when my gun isn't working properly. Then again, I just about stop playing when my gun isn't working.
I agree a little updating would make Buzz so much better.
It also helps to know the value of a few key targets. Often in the game, it pays to aim high. I can give you more details, or you can search for yourself, because plenty of people have posted detailed videos of exactly where the high value targets are located. (Better than I could provide.)
As for TSM, it also has ways to unlock higher point targets. If you hit certain targets all in certain patterns, that then triggers higher point targets to pop up. Clearly this happens at the end with the plates, but it happens at other points in the game as well. (For TSM, those combos can be a a little tricky to hit.)
There's also a few key tips/targets for Men in Black. Unless your aim is truly horrible, I'm confident you could beat your sons/spouse just by hitting 3 key targets (assuming they don't know about them). Actually, for MiB, just pay close attention to the pre-shows- especially the giant video screen and the overhead "Don't be a Doofus!" video playing in the gun room for some good hints.
