Still excited about passing ROFR but still waiting for the estoppel paperwork to clear so we can close.

Finally got past the estoppel hurdle and mailed our check and signed documents this morning! our resale timeline so far hase been:
March 11: Submitted signed offer
March 12: Sent ROFR
April 6: Passed ROFR
May 13: Received closing docs
May 13: Returned closing docs & check

Just want to say Congrats from a fellow mouseowner. My home is WL & BLT. we stayed at AKL this past holiday season. i hope it is alright to mention a dif site that is really low-key but has lots of members that can answer every overwhelming question about using DVC. It is mouseowners with a .com. Not sure if a link is allowed. Hope I am not in trouble.

Thanks, I know all about it. I scoured it and a few other resources learning all I could before we purchased. Mike has done a great job providing some great resources there. The only thing that caught us by surprise was the estoppel wait as I think this a relatively new issue with resale contracts.

Yeah it is hard to believe DVC would create this issue by prolonging the contract closures to make the resale market less competitive .

We're planing a few nights in September before and after our cruise, then the week of Christmas. Additionally, we'd like to surprise the DD with a long weekend at the end of July but not holding much hope that availability will be there since we're so close.
