Thanks for the info. Any word on what Disney might be doing with the lounge. Maybe they could reinstate the old annual passholder lounges and use the old AAA lounge for the new passholder lounge at the MK.

That would just leave Disney-MGM Studios needing a lounge and there would be one at every park. Send this message to Iger please.:animwink:

We recieved a notice from our local AAA office. They state "Disney has decided they were not renewing this area to AAA"....the notice also states; they will have their car care center there yet and may try to have extra benefits for their associates. AAA was planning to remodel and update this area; but when they applied to Disney for permission, Disney was the one that terminated. To be honest, even if you wre a member of AAA you could not use this area unless you purchased a package.

Interesting. That was something that always was odd that you had to basically buy your way in as a AAA member (although, with the number of people in AAA, the area might have had lines longer than SM if ALL AAA members were granted access). Thanks for the statement and info!

I think the lounges are great either way. Passholder,AAA,Brown Hair Club,I talk Like a Pirate so give me so space. Whomever great idea.

There is a park (not a Disney park ;) ) I heard that has free soft drinks all day for the guests. Not just little samples either.

I think you're referring to Holiday World in Santa Claus, Indiana, right? I grew up just down the road from them in Louisville, and I remember seeing the commercials advertising "better guest service than Disney!"

Of course, when you have less than 500 employess, are seasonal, don't stay open until 1 in the morning, and have less then 10000 guests a day, it's probably easier to provide better guest service  .
