I’m hearing WDW has dropped the AAA room-only discount in 2015.

No confirmed reports but it seems to be the case the AAA is removing its relationship in some form with disney.

My understanding is that AAA and Disney are dissolving their relationship. No idea as to why but all AAA benefits such as discounts, Diamond parking etc are indeed going away for 2015. Marie

any speculation as to why? That seems like a great relationship to maintain. granted, I never found aaa discounts to be that great for Disney.

I really dont know honestly, I havent even heard any good theories to speculate on. I do know that this is a definite though. Sorry I can't provide more insight on this. Marie

It does.
My only guess was AAA's close relationship with Universal may have ticked Disney off. In either case, I think this is a lose/lose situation. There are those that only had AAA for the Disney and Universal discounts. With half that gone (the more expensive half), there may be no need to keep AAA. As for Disney, there are some that only stayed on site because of the AAA discount. Bad business decision all around.
