AAA Discount

My Mom, Boyfriend, and his family are all planning a trip to Disney in May. My boyfriend's mother booked three rooms this week and was given a AAA discount of 20%. When my mother called to reserve her room yesterday, they told her she would not receive the AAA (even though she is a member) and that my boyfriend's family had received a "Grand Gathering" discount and not a AAA discount. We asked my boyfriend's mother and she confirmed that she had received a AAA discount and had even given her AAA member number during the reservation process. Does anyone know why my mom wasn't allowed to get the reservation over the phone? Will she be able to show her AAA card when we arrive and still get the discount? :veryconfu

It is possible that they didn't have any rooms left for your timeframe with an AAA discount. I believe they only allow an AAA rate on a certain amount of rooms per hotel.

That is very odd. I just booked a client with 2 rooms with the AAA discount. A Grand Gathering discount?
Hmmm. I would suggest that your mother call again and get another CM on the phone. Have her book the AAA discount and then when she is done have her ask them to connect her reservation to your boyfriends mothers (using her name) The only way that she would not get it, is if they did not have any other AAA discounted rooms available at that resort. ( they only allow so many with each discount) If you need help, have her call me and I will call to see what the deal is.
