Missing from this trip, DD, Jessie :(

When: 8/28-9-7 at Coronado Springs with Free Dining bounceback!

Well, a lot can change in a year I guess! We are thrilled to be going back to Coronado Springs, we just loved it last year. Read many mixed reviews but we completely adored it. Labor Day being later this year totally threw us off on our stay, but our anniversary is the 28th. (Our 23rd) We love going on it, think this is the 5th we have been down there for. Hoping the crowds are the same as what we normally have that 10 day stretch. The dates, resort, and free dining stayed the same, now for the things that didn't.

Very, very bummed that there is no early MNSSHP this year! We love, love it so much but not enough to change the trip. :( Last year was especially amazing. On a bright note though, DH and I have decided to turn our tickets into annual passes!!!! What? I, Disneyshe, shall finally be a passholder??? I am so excited. We won't make it back down until January or February and then I know I will be taking in Star War's Weekends, something I have always wanted to do but seriously..annual passes!!!

Our trip players have changed a bit and I will miss my DD being with us but am looking forward to a new adventure with my son and his new family. I think it will be fun to go with a little fella again, even though it has been a long time. I totally got used to my kids being able to ride everything. We do plan on spending time just ourselves too and I booked 2 rooms so that we can each have our own place to unwind. I know going into it that I can't expect them to keep up with our insane pace although I know my DS will still be geared that way.

Other new things are that we are taking in the Keys to the Kingdom tour. (Just DH and I) I am very excited to do this but hoping since I am a character lover, that I do not see too many "friends" walking around in the ulitidors. I know that may sound silly coming from a "grown up" but I would just rather not see that. If I do, that's okay though, I think seeing the backstage areas will make it worth it! If anyone sees a grown woman cover her eyes and scream, that will be me lol come say hello.

Now, not to forget the amazing free dining...

We are eating at the following table services this year. Starting with old favorites
Cape May Cafe (crab legs!!!)
O'hana (love it)
Ohana breakfast (I really love O'hana)
Crystal Palace breakfast (before park opening of course! A must)
Le Cellier (always a must)
Chefs de France (tried it last year and loved it)
Coral Reef (it gets mixed reviews, I know but we enjoy it)
Boma (did it twice, maybe 3 times and going back to try again)
Hollywood & Vine (the food here is not one of my favorites and would not being doing it again except for the little fella being able to see the characters he knows so well.)

So, that sums up the highlights, a lot has changed and I know it is going to be different in some ways, but the Disney Spirit is still there. 34 days from today my feet will be in my Happy Place!

We just got back from a Coronado trip and loved it! Even with some construction going on in the Casitas area we found it to be a very relaxing resort and nice to come home to after a long day in the parks. I remember enjoying your Halloween TR so I am looking forward to reading this one!

I had wondered how noticable the construction rehab was. We are hoping to be in the Cabanas 8b again. I loved being beachfront. Glad you had a great trip and that you enjoyed my Halloween report. :) Looking forward to sharing this year's adventures.

We were in Cabanas 8b! We were three doors away from the stairs that went right out to the bus stop. It was perfect!

I think we were on the opposite end from the bus stop, near the quiet pool and laundry at 9a? It was right on the corner by the walkway. We drive to the parks so I didn't pay much attention to where the stop was, but the room we had was so quiet! I loved that.
