PARKING AT THE DISNEYLAND RESORT (Part 1)
Parking will be split up into 4 "parking centers" scattered around the resort.
Mickey & Friends and Pixar Pals Parking Center (#8)
There will be no map created as the parking center is going to be almost identical to the current parking center. The only difference is the Coco Level at the Pixar Pals Parking Structure will be renamed to the Toy Story Level.
Princess Parking Center (#10, #6)
Pictured above is the map for the Princess Parking Center. Built on the previous site for the never-built Eastern Gateway Project, this revitalizes this project in a brand new way. Instead of building a parking bridge to bring people over Harbor Blvd, this design takes the Toy Story Parking Lot Approach by having guests board busses to take them in to the Disneyland Resort. After parking their cars in the Princess Parking Structure
(5), guests will be able to walk down various escalators
(3) down to the Princess Plaza with a beautifully done Princess inspired fountain
(4). Here guests can choose to take a beautifully landscaped path to walk to the Disneyland Resort
(2), having to cross at a crosswalk by Harbor Boulevard. This pathway will be on ground level allowing for access to nearby "good neighbor" Hotels
(1), a part the Eastern Gateway did not utilize. If guests choose to walk to the resort utilizing the garden pathways, security will be taken at the Harbor Boulevard entrance to the resort. But if guest choose to hop on a bus to the resort, guests will pass through security
(6) before boarding a Disney Princess Parking Center Bus to the resort
(8). Guests will also board a bus coming back from the resort and will be dropped off right next to the parking garage
(7).
The parking structure can fit 10,000 cars and will be almost identical to the current Mickey & Friends Parking Structure.
Level 1- Cinderella (Cast Member Level)
Level 2- Sleeping Beauty (Cast Member Level)
Level 3- The Little Mermaid (Cast Member Level)
Level 4- Frozen (Guest Parking Level)
Level 5- Beauty and the Beast (Guest Parking Level)
Level 6- Tangled (Guest Parking Level)
Marvel Parking Center & Entertainment Area (#12)
Pictured above is the map for the Marvel Parking Center. Built on the site currently operating as the Simba & Zazu Lots as well as Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel, this new Parking Center is made exclusively for guests wanting to visit the Downtown Disney entertainment district and resort guests.
Upon entering the parking center
(1), guests will receive a printed ticket that lists their time of arrival. Guests will also exit at this section of the lot using the operating procedures as will be explained later. After they enter, guests will have the option to go to two seperate locations to park. If they are going to Downtown Disney or staying at a resort hotel, they will remain straight ahead towards the parking structure
(2) & ground level parking
(3). They will then walk towards their respective hotel or Downtown Disney following the pathways
(4). If they are experiencing a Disneyland Resort Entertainment Area, they will make a left upon entering. They will then park on ground level
(5) to experience the relocated House of Blues
(6) or the relocated AMC Theatres
(7). The reason for the relocation of these two businesses will be explained upon in a further post.
Operation of the Lot:
Guests Staying at a Resort Hotel will be able to scan their resort keycard as they exit the parking lot allowing for free use of the parking for their stay. Guests using the lot for Downtown Disney will be able to enter for free, but will have to receive a parking voucher from any Downtown Disney Restaurant or Retail Store in order to exit without paying. Guests who do not receive a parking voucher will be charged. Guests using the Disneyland Resort Area entertainment (House of Blues & AMC) will also receive a parking voucher from those respective locations.
The parking area can fit 5,000 cars.

Guests will enter the parking lot from one of two entrances. The Harbor Blvd entrance
(1) and the Katella Ave entrance
(2). Both service the same lot. Guests will enter and have the opportunity to park in 4 ground level spots
(3-6) or the Animation Garage
(7). Guests parking in the Animation Garage will use the escalators
(8) to make their way to the pathway that leads to security. Following suit with the Princess Parking Center, guests will go through security
(9) prior to boarding the bus
(10) as to have less security lines at the resort entrance.
