MYSTERY SHACK: THE MORE REALISTIC (ISH) WALKTHROUGH ATTRACTION
View attachment 813131
you enter the mystery shack through a screen-accurate exterior from the movie. Tacky arrow signs point all around for a “self guided tour”. You enter through the main entrance, walk right through the main door. Upon entering, you see a sign on the door : “use the play Disney Parks App to enhance your tour of the Mystery Shack!” That’s right! Using the play Disney parks app, you will be able to decode secret messages hidden throughout the attraction, like the Indiana Jones Adventure queue. Paper booklets will also be available upon request.
Section one: Stan’s Exhibit Room

You start your walkthrough off in grunkle Stan’s phony mystery displays. As you enter, you see a sign saying “skip the wait for your tour with Mystery Lane! Start as soon as you get there! Price fluctuates based on the day (and the amount in your wallet). There appears to be a broken, oil covered mechanical miner man in the corner, with a big “out of order” sticker on him. His name is “old goldy”, and he has a wedding ring on. How odd. (Reference to Stan and goldy in Vegas, for those confused non fans). The exhibits are made up of some show references. Now you can MARVEL at the Elusive SAS-CROTCH. CONFOUND at the mystical “Rock that looks like a face rock”. The invisible man (it’s a corner with nothing in it), the corni-corn, and other fake exhibits all line this room. Everything feels decidedly cheesy, but on purpose.
Each attraction has a sign that has a humorous description of the object, and a button that if you press it, plays a humorous audio reading of the sign’s text (with some extra gags) read by Mr. Mystery himself. There also is a photo op with a hanging sign that reads “OUR NEWEST EXHIBIT: THE WORLDS MOST HIDEOUS CREATURE”. Standing arrows point at the center of the space saying things like “Horrible!”, “Terrible!”, “A Monster!”on all sides. There is a space in the middle for somebody to stand in, and take a fun photo posing as a mystery shack exhibit.
Section Two: Living quarters

After you finish the experience, you then pass through the pines living quarters. First, you pass through the “living room” area. Different details and references from the show are hidden in this area, from products shown in the show, newspapers proclaiming the “never mind all that” proclamation, ect. Then you take a walk by a faithful recreation of dipper and mable’s bedroom, full of small details and all that. Next, you walk through a hallway, with the copying machine from the dipper cloning episode in it, sometimes sputtering to brief life. Then, you see a vending machine slid open, revealing a secret door to a hidden lab..
Section three: Ford’s lab
View attachment 813134
After passing through a “secret” entrance, you end up in ford’s lab. All over the walls, you see different pages from the journals, and secret messages scribbled on the walls in code. Sci fi techno gadgetry is over the walls and as people that you can touch and noises and lights flash and all that. Video screens show different graphs, secruity cam footage, and information about the anomalies of gravity falls There are some of gravity falls anomalies contained for study, in statue or animatronic form. Including: Schmebulock, a fairy, a computer with GIFfany periodically appearing on it, the wax head of Larry king, ect. We also see on some desks and in other locations, more notes, the time rift, the memory eraser gun, a copy of “dungeons, dungeons, and more dungeons”, ect. Through a screen that appears as a broken window, you will see the destroyed remains of the portal, as a result of what happened at the end of “not what he seems. Nearing the end of the lab, you will see a sign over a door: “WARNING: SUPERNATURAL ENTITY CONTAINMENT. this entity is extremely dangerous and should be interacted with only using EXTREME CAUTION”
Entering the room, you see a very high tech sort of containment device. A screen is used to represent a sort of cell. A cast member is beside it. Now, here comes the big WOW moment of the walkthrough: using the new media based meet and greet technology shown off with rocket raccoon at d23, you will be able to meet, talk with, and take a picture with BILL CYPHER himself, contained so he doesn’t escape! Just be careful if he tries to make a deal with you….

Exit through the gift shop
View attachment 813136
exiting from the lab, you exit out through a recreation of the mystery shack gift shop, which serves as an actual gift shop, selling assorted Disney and gravity falls merchandise (dipper hats would probably be popular). There are more faux photo opportunities in this store as well. Thank you for visiting the mystery shack! Come again soon, and spend more money next time!
