Trip Report A Very Merry Sweet 16!! (Completed)

We enjoyed the displays and all the wonderful delicious smells that accompanied them. Then we went to the gift shop, I wanted to buy the gingerbread 25th anniversary T-shirt and mug.
Once we all had our fill of gingerbread, we headed back to the monorail and headed over towards Epcot.
We used our return time for Soarin, and then I was able to request another return time for LWTL, whose line was absolutely crazy with the glimmering greenhouses.
We didn’t forget about the VQ for GoG. It would be our next stop.
Guardians was awesome as always, and lo and behold. When the ride started we got the song Conga, which is the other song that I really don’t care for, however, Julia was happy because she had never heard it before. Now the only song she was missing was Everybody Wants To Rule The World.
We walked back over to the Land pavilion to go on LWTL- Glimmering Greenhouses. The lightning lane line was snaked all the way through the existing queue into the area where the tables and chairs were. It was incredible! But the line moved quickly - I was shocked at how fast it did move. It was well worth the wait!

When we finished, we decided to walk over to Beach Club to catch a bus to Disney Springs. We wanted to get some dinner, but I have to confess, I couldn’t pass by Mexico without getting one of these
and one of these.
I was hooked!
Once we were at Disney Springs, we were all debating whether we wanted to eat at the Polite Pig or Deluxe Burger. The pig won out.
It was all delicious! I have to admit, my favorite dish here are the brussels sprouts. Go figure!
Perhaps it’s a good thing that I enjoyed those brussel sprouts because next on my list was Gideon’s Cookies and a cold brew! Julia picked up some cookies to bring home for Nicolas as well. I got some from my sister-in-law who is a chocolate fanatic.
We hopped on a bus back to Pop Century.
While we were on the bus, one man decided to put his stroller down right across the middle of the bus as people were boarding!
I’m not sure how he figured people were going to step over it. Finally he got enough dirt looks so he picked it up so people could walk further to the back of the bus.
Back at the hotel, they had a CM wreath decorating contest, and even though I don’t like the Muppets, (I know, I know!) I thought this wreath ROCKED!!!
When we got back to our room, I started packing up some of our stuff. Tomorrow would be our last full day.

Day 9...December 17th
Today was our last full day. It would also be the warmest of our entire trip. Had our other days been like today, my girls would probably been able to convince me to swim a bit.
We had to start our day with a healthy breakfast! lol
Hope choose a croissant whole Julia picked a cinnamon bun. I had a morning fill up of coffee.
Then we all headed over to the Skyliner.

We made our way to Hollywood... I mean Potatoland!!!!
I have to say I LOVE the decorations around HS. The retro look is so cool!
Our first stop was Walt Disney Presents. Hope has pretty much memorized all the facts in this attraction. lol
Hope was excited for Moana 2 to come out... the funny is ... we still haven't seen it!! lol

Next up was a ride on the fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy!!

When we exited, we tried a snack that was new to us. The Galactic popcorn. I picked the sweet and savory mix. It was okay...but I don't think I would get it again.
As for the cold brew... I get it every time! Extra cream - less ice!
I got a return time for ROTR, and since we had about an hour, there was something the girls wanted to go...

The girls wanted to eat at PizzaRizzo, since its impending doom.... Usually its always closed when we attempt to go, but not today! We feasted on puffy pizza, wilted salads and a meatball sub one last time!
After our bellies were full, we wandered back to Batuu and took on the First Order. We would get another B-Mode here as Kylo-Ren was not working again today!
Keeping with the Star Wars theme, we walked over to Star Tours.

Then we ventured over to ToT... have I mentioned I hate this ride! lol

Ross needed a bathroom break, so the girls and I decided to go see B&TB.
Ross tried to join us, but it was too late. They would not let him in, so he texted me that he would wait by the exit.
