Wow that's awesome! Enjoy your trip! These forums have seemed so negative on Disney's customer service lately! I recently had someone reach out to me and give me the VIP Fantasmic seating package since they announced a refurb for Rock and Roll the day I had planned to go to DHS. It's nice to hear that these little upgrades still exist, and cast members really are listening. I swear, it's the little things that mean the most on vacation! :)

Very nice upgrade. Disney did a similar thing for us on a trip years ago. They do try hard to please guests and make up for any goofs that occur with reservations. Especially for guests that are reasonable and dont lose their cool when confronting them with a problem. They want you happy and to keep you coming back. Nobody wants to be treated poorly but some guests think they can get what they want by making a commotion and screaming louder at the poor CM at the desk that had nothing to do with the mix up.

So we arrived at pop century this afternoon. We had booked a prefered room and requested a king bed, and a ground floor. The room they sent us to was on the 3rd floor and had 2 double beds. Now i fully understand these are requests we made but i was bummed because i am a larger man and i work midnights so really vacation is the only time the wife and i get to sleep in the same bed. We talked to the front desk supervisor to see if something could be done. She asked if there was another resort we would like to stay. My wife said she just wanted a king bed and i joked the grand floridian. She picked up the phone and called them and they were booked she then called the poly and they had a room she gave us a taxi voucher and sent us on over. Really top notch customer service. The wife and i were awestruck. We have talked about a deluxe "some day" now here we are
