A Twist In Time : The Discussion Thread

Didn't you say you were a Bernie supporter? You do realize he absolutely hates Trump's guts and has endorsed Hillary. He's trailed on her campaign and basically does not want Trump to win. Before you say that Hillary bought him out, I'm just going to say that Bernie is a genuine person who wants the best for the country and wouldn't endorse her unless he thought it was best. To for the person who Bernie can influence most than the person who could start a nuclear war if someone calls him a name
I said I was "somewhat" of a Bernie fan because of his policies on college debt - that's why he's so popular with millennials. If it was between Clinton and Sanders, I was going for Sanders.

And him endorsing Clinton is exactly what I don't like about Washington and politics. It was proven that the DNC and Clinton conspired against Sanders in the primaries, and Schultz (the DNC Chair) had to resign her position because of it. All this corruption is what I'm against. Sanders was against it too, until he did the old Washington two-step and fell back in line. You can say it's because he doesn't like Trump, but the reality is it's because he was influenced by his own party - hence why his old supporters booed him at the convention.

Actually...I think I can concede that it may have been a bit of both.

But you can't deny that party unity is a reason why he did it...and why we should get rid of the party system in Washington and just elect the best candidate. I've been saying that for a while.

And with that I wash my hands of politics for the day. :p Whatever the outcome of the election...it'll be yuuuuge..:hilarious:

I'll just get the popcorn and watch the chaos.

I'm not saying that Hillary is the best, but she is carrying some of Bernie's ideas. And she's the best bet to Bernie being on the Cabinet, which is what I'm most hoping for since there is a likelihood there. Quite honestly, I'm just in denial that Bernie won't become president (I think most of Vermont is, too).

And no, Bernie *really* doesn't like Trump. I don't think he would fall into the "corruption"; he's not that type of person.

Also, there's a lot of corruption within the Republican party, too.

I think the show as fun, but I do think it should be at Disney's Hollywood Studios, with a different theme.
you_are_wrong.jpg

That's what I thought at first, until I realized that this isn't something new. Mickey Mouse and his friends were in; not one; but three different Fantasylands at one point in this attraction.

They also have many meet n'greets in a majority of zones such as Main Street U.S.A, Tomorrowland, Sunset Boulevard, Africa, Future World, etc. The only exceptions being something like Toy Story Land.

I am stuck on this Challenge 3...still trying to come up with a theme...

@kmbmw777 and @Magic Feather you both have really great concepts btw!:D
If it makes you feel any better, I believe this is the only hotel planned for the competition :D

I have yet to read their proposals, but will get to theirs soon as I like to read each proposal 2 or 3 times.
It's one of the only places on property I haven't been to...that and the All-Star Resorts...

I've had to actually research this...still nothing:p

Pretty much the opposite for me I can navigate the values like the back of my hand everything else, I'll get lost at. As the majority of the resorts at Disney I've only visited once. Except for AKL because of Boma, its one of my family's favorites.

I actually visited AOA when they finally completed the whole resort, but it was pretty pricey so I stayed at All-Star Music. I have plenty of pictures of the resort :D
Although I'm not sure it would help you at all

Best of luck to you space, and all the other Imagineers! :D

I love hotel challenges! I'll come up with it eventually...animation is such a good theme for a value resort...it's hard to top it:p And I don't want to use the same theme. So I'm at a crossroads:bookworm:

and thank you for the offer of pictures...though it probably won't help since its a different resort:hilarious:

Hmm I just realized...so some of the rooms have indoor hallway entrances?

I noticed the ones in the Mermaid section have outdoor entrances, similar to stuff like Coronado and Port Orleans.

That's interesting:bookworm:

That's because Mermaid was built as the first part of POP Century : The Golden Years. Of course that never happened due to I think 9/11, and then tourism went down. The Mermaid buildings went unused for a while, and were repurposed hence why I required them to stay.

See I learn something new every day!

Thank you!:geek:
Your welcome :D

Here's some video on the original Pop Century - Legendary Years

And some general info -

You should be thankful that I didn't make you keep the lobby the same size along with the paring as those were already there.:p:D (Sounded kinda harsh so I edited in some smilies :D)

Thank you! I'm honestly struggling to find time to finish it, though. I don't have any more data, the school wifi blocks this site, I have marching band 24/7, and then there's The Scarlet Letter. lol. I can't wait to finish it tho. This is my favorite round so far.

Art of Animation really seems like a moderate/value mix. I'm a big fan of Coronado Springs and Port Orleans French Quarter, and AoA is really close in quality (granted just by looking online)
I'd say closer to Value+, the plus definitely comes into play for Lion King, Nemo and Cars. (all suites)
Whiel it stays as a value due to its thememing and Mermaid rooms. (all regular rooms)

Techinally you can access WDWMagic. By the way around 2012/2013 it wasn't blocked. I know because I accesed the forums with school wifi back then.

and then there's The Scarlet Letter
Fun :bored:
Were currently reading Animal Farm in my English class, and once again I'm one of the few who liked Orwell's writing. I liked 1984, and as the only one in my class to like it.

I can't wait to finish it tho. This is my favorite round so far.
That's great to hear ! :D
I wish I could say something about your proposal, but alas my lips are sealed.
