The problem is that, like you said, you tried to start a friendly conversation. That kind of stuff doesn't happen here for some reason.

i must a a different threshold for what is considered "unfriendly", because I didn't see anything in this thread that came across as unfriendly, unless you consider any type of disagreement as unfriendly.

Some advice from someone (me!) who learned a lesson the hard way, back in the 90's when discussion forums were still on the Usenet (rec.arts.disney.parks aka RADP): When joining a new forum, take time to lurk and get to know the regulars, learn the unofficial and official policies for discussions, take time to search for similar topics, etc. Then, when you are ready to get your feet wet, introduce yourself, share your thoughts, and be willing to accept disagreement without taking it personally.

I hope you decide to stay, and can offer some thoughts and advice, since your profile indicates you have quite a few WDW trips under your belt.

Ahhh, RADP. Those were the days...
