Still think that "Sooner or Later" should have been included. It's so great, and I love that film so much it is sad to think that it could have been used.

I like Sooner or Later better than Burrow's Lament. It's a lot catchier!
But it's no big deal.

If you check the Disneyland CDs from the 50th (2005), you'll notice the History box set has a different song from the official album version. Randy Thornton did that on purpose so we could hear both versions. It's a Disneyland only change.

Bizarrely, I had heard Sooner or Later many times before I first heard Burrow's Lament. My parents used to play a Splash Mountain soundtrack for me in the car when I was really young, and the recording had Sooner or Later instead of Burrow's Lament. It wasn't for years after that before I had the courage to ride Splash Mountain and hear the actual song.
