A simple Land Pavilion question...

During the Listen/Living With the Land ride they showcase a section where fish are farmed and such. During the ride, the cast member stated that all crops grown are used as food throughout the parks. However, there are these cute little alligators in ride. What are they used for? (I thought those Chicken Fingers tasted sooooo good for a reason.)

It is well known that, given the chance, male alligators will eat their young. Knowing this, the officials at Disney's Animal Kingdom struck a deal with Epcot's Land pavillion to arrange to grow the "food" for the park's male gator population. Hence the small gators you see on the Land tour ARE used as food elsewhere in WDW.

The gators were there way before AK opened I believe.

Yes, but he was stating that when AK opened, they made the deal to grow the gators for food for the big gators at AK.

A lot of them go to other farms for breeding, food, ect.

Any idea on when the animal area will be reopened? or is it already done with the rehab?
