A. S. S. With very small child

Ok. I read the whole (11 page) Alien SS thread. That was a waste of time.

We leave in a week and have a 35” 19 month old with us. Technically, I think she’s tall enough. I’ve watched a few videos and they don’t seem too fast, but people have reported that it’s more “intense” than they expected.

Has anyone taken a young toddler on? Or seen other groups with young toddlers?

Obviously this is a case of “every kid is different, who knows how your kid will react,” but there aren’t a lot of fun things to do at DHS for a little kiddo. She’s ridden kiddie rides at six flags, but they don’t really do anything.

Any experiences to share?

I think she would love it. I went with another adult and it was more intense than we expected, however we were purposely trying to whip that thing around as much as possible. I saw others, children or adults with children, who had a more milder ride than us.

Go on it and enjoy! Worst case, the ride doesn't last long so if it is too intense you'll know for next time. Ya never know until you try!

Our grandson rode it. He is 2 1/2 and 37 inches tall. He loved it. It reminds me of a scrambler type fair ride. Just put your arm around to kinda have a spot for head to rest when it kinda slings. That is what we did.

We’re actually a group of 8. 6 Adults, a 6yo and the 19 month old. Glad to know 3 people fit if one of them is little.
I want to say, they may limit to just 3, we were scrunched up, because it was slinging when we took photo - but there was still plenty of room. 3 adults could probably fit, or maybe and adult and 3 kids. It was roomy though, until it slings you lol. The belt goes all the way across everybody.

It whips more than expected - nothing major for an adult, but my 3 y/o loved it. You will want to hold on - one belt for all riders. My dad and I are not small people, so my daughter got the extra-fun ride.

And just my opinion - TSL is substantially better at night. The colors really pop, and it feels much more like being in a cartoon.

I was on this in September. I found that just having one seat belt that went around all the people in the car caused me to slide into my wife in some of the swirls. I could see were this might cause a problem with small and large people in the car together.
