A Revival of Disney's Sing-Along Songs (Open Brainstorming)

Hi-ho, Kermit the frog here, in the 1990s, there was a series of videos called Disney's Sing-Along Songs. It was similar to karaoke, as each video consisted of Disney songs with the lyrics at the bottom of the screen. For the songs, some videos just had the clip from the movie playing where the song came from. Others had kids that would interact with Disney characters in the parks and other locations. I was thinking we could use the same age group the kids were in the 90s version of these videos. I also had this concept for a video in which the kids would do songs around the countries in EPCOT Center's World Showcase. Anyways, we should rename this revival Walt Disney's Sing-Along Songs, in honor of Walt Disney, the man who started the magic. Does anyone have any more ideas? PS: What was the age group of the kids in the 90s version?

Oh man I remember those, specially the one that took place in Disneyland and another that took place in Disney World's waterparks. Good times.

The age group for the ones in the 90's were the kids born in the late 80s. So the under 15 age. We used to work w/ the Jr. High kids at our church, and they would sing disney songs for HOURS. They were all pre-15.

So, I'm guessing in the range of 8 to 11?

You know, I don't know if I've seen any of the ones that had actual children in them...just the animated ones. I thought you meant the age of the audience. Sorry. :hammer:
I was talking about the ones with actual children in them.

Hi! I know I'm two years too late, but I love the idea and I've thought about it a lot. The beach one was my absolute favorite movie and it still is! I think it's time for another sing along songs series. There are more rides now and newer ones too! The kids in the movie were aged 6-13 (for sure). I think the filming should be done in other parks like Hollywood Studios, Magic Kingdom, and Epcot like you've mentioned earlier.

OK, do you have any ideas?

I had all of them - and we found some of them on DVD for my nephew to watch now. Disneyland Fun was my absolute favorite. I even have their renditions of Grim Grinning Ghosts, Walking Right Down the Middle of Main St USA, Zip a Dee Doo Dah and Whistle While you Work on my Ipod. LOVE IT
