Is it safe for me to bring my Trans Friends to Florida?

Will they get arrested for being in dresses around kids?

Will they get harassed in the bathrooms?

Will the park security stick up for them?

Is the outside the resort area safe?

Will they need to take their prosthetics off during security?

I saw one Trans person in the park last year and she did not seem very happy, but It could have been due to the hurricane closing the parks the next day.

That is a whole lot of questions that can't really be answered.
The best advice is to do what feels right to you.

There is a higher probability of getting in an auto accident than being assaulted because of who you are.

There are more trans individuals in the parks than anyone would know and Disney doesnt require trans individuals to wear a sign stating they are trans.

I'm sure they will be fine. Disney is very open to LGBTQ+ culture.

Saw plenty of trans people on my last trip.

Yes its safe.
No they wont be arrested.
Bathrooms... no one can say how another guest will or will not treat someone. If you have an issue let a CM know.
Dis security will do what they need to to offer protection for all.
Resorts are very safe and secure. Security has never made prosthetics be removed during a scan as far as Ive seen.
Ive seen many guests unhappy, dont assume anyone is unhappy because they were a trans.

Disney and FL are both safe. Dont let the media and political parties on both sides that are purposely inflaming the issue for their gain make you think you are in peril. Youll be able to enjoy your trip as well as anyone e3lse. Dis has welcomed and treated everyone alike as long as you follow the rules that everyone is expected to follow.

They will be as safe in Florida as anywhere else.

There’s no guarantee they won’t run into a rude idiot but that could happen anywhere, go enjoy WDW and don’t let the headlines spook you.

Worst case scenario where something does happen I'd wager the victim would have the support of Disney and the majority of guests.

I think your question has been answered. Just like all of the "Is it safe to ride X when I'm pregnant?" or "Is my child too old to use a stroller?" it depends upon the individual. There are always going to be rude, judgemental people - no place is 100% safe both physically and emotionally.

WDW may be safer than most places for those in the LGBT+ community - especially in June.
