A question for our British friends..

I thought that when the European Union came into existence that the involved countries replaced their currency with the Euro. However I've noticed on the boards here that many of you still talk about the exchange rates in British Pounds. Are pound notes still in circulation, or does everyone just find it easier to figure out prices in pounds out of habit?

Thanks.

The United Kingdom did not adopt the Euro, and as a result, the pound is still the legal currency of the United Kingdom.

We still have Pounds Sterling... for now. We also still have our Archbishop of Canterbury... for a decidedly-shorter now. :lookaroun
