Well that at least confirms that there are talks about the future of the PeopleMover, which is encouraging (rather than just ignoring it for years, as they have been doing).

Or it could just be a group of people standing ontop of a building.... I used to stand on top of buildings at Disney all the time, it was relaxing and got you away from guests.

Well considering that I heard from more than one source that the Imagineers want to reopen the peoplemover and move the astrojets... I am pretty sure that is what they are doing...

I have never been to Disneyland but it would be really great that if the Astro Orbiter is moved back on top, that it gets a really cool, big and ornate design like the on at WDW.

Picture 3, on the link.

Can anyone tell me what happened there?

P.S. I just got back from my first trip ever to DL and it brought cool to a whole new level.

Looks like a new shop at the Grand Californian at DD.

I have a question the the pics Grizz posted. For Space Mountain, on the upper ledge area, why is there such a wide open area of nothing? It seems really really weird. I know the 3D theatre is below but the whole thing looks like it is missing quite a bit from above? What was here before? (I never been to Disneyland as I said before).

I couldn't find the exact pic you mentioned, but it could either be an entrance way for TTA or the former landing spot for the skyway.

I have only been to DL once, so I am not positive.

Its made to look like a launch pad. If you notice the design. The sky way station was located to the side of the carousel building, and the TTA boardning area was the pic with the execs looking at it that Grizz provided a link to.

Nothing permenantly. It's been a big open empty area for as long as I can remember.

Way back when, that big open space in above HISTA was not there. It was open and looked down to (I believe it was called) Space Place.
