A park called Disneyland Kingdom?

Why not replace it with London & Big Ben?

Well, maybe. The only challenge with that is we need to find out the transition to and from it. The transition to Neuschwanstein comes from a plane flying over Sydney Harbor, and the transition from Neuschwanstein is a flash of light that transitions to Mt. Kilimanjaro.

Sorry to bump up an old thread, but I needed to address a few things...

no need to go into depth with Berlisilia, if you just describe the general tone of how the city is set up, readers will probably have enough to understand which aspects you'll take from which culture into park representation. Maybe check out a general description of San Fransokyo and apply it to the Berlin/Brasilia model.

The problem, though, is I have no idea how to set up the general tone of Berilsilia. Do you have any ideas how to do that?

Xanadu could work too I suppose. It's been used in many different contexts(heck I was just thinking about the Olivia Newton-John song the whole time), so I don't think the name would be predominantly associated with Asia, making it easier for you to universalize your resort and implement the culturally specific aspects from Germany and Brazil

I was also thinking of the Newton-John movie. But there is no German or Portuguese translation for "Xanadu".

I really hate to be fictitious with my location. Unlike many here, I like to be ultrarealistic, and whether I go with a mythical city or one that I made up myself, it means being honest that this park will exist nowhere but in the imagination.

I did a whole thread on the matter years ago (https://forums.wdwmagic.com/threads/blue-sky-vs-all-else-but-mostly-constraints.897813/) where I felt that constraints were just as important as blue sky. But a lot of these people seem to think that the blue sky process and that their ideas were fictitious or unrealistic were actually honorable.

How can I explain my park being in a fictitious place like Xanadu, especially since I don't recall anything there related to Brazilian or German culture?

As for going the Big Hero 6 route and coming up with a name like Berlisilia, how are the readers going to understand what I'm talking about if I don't go into thorough background on it? Aren't they going to want to know the history/context of the city? Come to think of it, wouldn't it make more sense to make a movie around this city (maybe a Disney animated film)?

In any case, here's a brief description of San Fransokyo in "Big Hero 6", courtesy of TVTropes.org (under the section "All There In the Manual"):

While not stated in the film, Word of God is that the movie is set in an alternate timeline where, after the 1906 San Francisco earthquake (which, according to the series, happened two weeks earlier than IRL and was the result of a botched experiment, not a natural event), the city was rebuilt by Japanese immigrants using techniques that allow movement and flexibility in a seismic event. Afterwards it was renamed San Fransokyo due to the mix of Japanese and American architecture.

Wouldn't readers feel lost without similar explanations for Berlisilia? In any case, it's all made up and not as fun as putting it in a real location, or at least in a location that's already established, if not in reality, then at least in culture/mythology.
