We stumbled upon this performance right as it was ending, I can't remember the name of the band (and tried to google it!) but they were AWESOME!

It was really nice to stroll around and just take it all in. Next we stumbled across the castle show

I LOVE this statue.... I get goosebumps everytime I see it!

Our fastpass for Big Thunder Mountain was ready to use so we wandered in that direction

Fastpass plus was working out well for us, the standby at this time was about 40mins but we were on in 10.

Here comes our ride

After the wildest ride in the wilderness we trecked towards the exit via adventureland, Sleepy couldn't resist a prime posing opportunity along the way

The Sun was beating down at this point so this cool off area was a nice

Aladdin and Jasmine were meeting in the area but we didn't have time to queue

We had a quick browse in the little shop beside the meet and greet area and Sleepy got a cool cap

I got a nice one too

Excuse the weird face not sure where that came from!

We left and headed over to the monorail, we had a reservation in EPCOT

Sleepy was pretty hungry at this point

Monorail Red came to pick us up

Next stop.. EPCOT

Great pictures from Magic Kingdom. The facial expression with the hat just made the whole family laugh our heads off. Better get sleepy a snickers bar before he really bites you. Following along.

And we never crossed paths! What a shame! Seems like a lifetime ago now! I love getting pics like that with nobody in them it's such a rare thing in Magic Kingdom!

Helloooooooo EPCOT... I have missed you soooooo much!

As you can see the food & wine festival was on while we were there but on this occassion we had no time to dabble in the wonderful offerings as we were headed to a reservation I was very much looking forward to. Our reservation was 2pm and we were right on time.

Eeeeeeeeek SO EXCITING!!! I OBSESSED over different restaurants for months leading up to our trip and it's so surreal getting to actually eat in them!

We went for the prix fix menu which is extremely good value

First up... DRINKS!!! CHEEEEEERS!

Now for the started I was torn... The french union soup or the lobster bisque? How was a girl to choose??? So we decided collectively to get one french onion as it was supposedly very filling and two of the lobster bisque and share.

It was so YUMMY but it is definitely a meal in itself! So filling! I was glad I was sharing.

The bisque was incredible

Sleepy was enjoying it!

I think for me the french onion was amazing and I'm really glad I tried both but if I had to choose only one it would be the lobster bisque!

We decided between the three of us to order all three mains so we could taste them all! This was working out nicely!

Sleepy got the quiche

Rachel went for the gratin de macaroni

And I chose the croque monsieur

All three were delicious!!

We did the same thing with the desert menu and all ordered different items

The chocolate mouse didn't blow me away and even though I'm a big profiterole fan the creme brûlée was definitely the winner for me!

I was SO FULL after that massive lunch! We waddled out to the fountain for a photopass shot

We decided we were way too full to walk and caught the next boat!

Out of Epcot we went and off for a spot of shopping... to be continued

Our shopping trip took us to the florida mall and I picked up a new dress for a our VERY special dinner that night. This restaurant has been on my list FOREVER and I've made reservations before but cancelled because I thought it was too expensive. FINALLY I was going to the restaurant with arguably the best view in Disneyworld.

Can you guess where??

You must have it now!

California Grill baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO FRICKEN EXCITED!!!!!

We were seated at our table which unfortunately was around the back (if you look at the picture above you would walk around with the bar area on your left and we were right around the other side. One good thing about this was that the area was a bit quieter which was nice.

First things first! Check out the cocktail menu!

I can not remember what we ordered to drink but they were all AMAZING :banghead:

On to the food! We decided to go with one of the flatbread offerings and some sushi to share.

Our server brought out some bread and salted butter, it was so yummy!

We were soooo full after the meal! It was absolutely delicious! Next up was our fireworks viewing from the balcony...

The special viewing area at California Grill is a really great bonus to eating here! Our server informed us that no matter what time of day you have a reservation you can return in the evening to use the viewing area for the fireworks which we didn't know!

Then it was time for hallowishes

It was amazing seeing the fireworks from a completely different perspective. We were surprised by how far away the fireworks are set off, when you're watching them in front of the castle they seem so close!

It was the perfect end to a perfect meal...

And there you have it... Our first full day... From MK to Epcot to the Contemporary... SO MUCH FUN!

Day 4
Monday 27th October: AK & DTD

Early start this morning again as AK had EMH from 8am. I really like Animal Kingdom and am SO EXCITED for the new expansion, I love how you feel transported out of a theme park in Florida and into this beautiful jungle like place! It's so immersive and definitely the best themed park IMO.
On our route from the carpark to AK

We ventured over to Dinasour but it was out of action... BOO :arghh:

Got a pic instead... Can you imagine if that thing moved randomly??? Sleepy... NOT ANYMORE!!!

Walk back... Sleepy's like 'BUT I wanted to the travel through time and catch a DINO!!'

We decided to hop on Primawhirl instead

This ride looks pretty tame (and is in the kiddy area) but MAN does it whip you around! We really enjoyed it despite slamming into each other a few times!

**TIP** This ride can be a bit of a slow loader at times so I usually hit it up early in the day..

Our next stop was to meet the main man himself and his better half

This is one of my favourite places to meet a character, I love the set up and don't Mickey and Minnie just rock that safari look!

Our next stop was the Safari Ride....

ANIMALS

Hard to believe we are still in a theme park

We just about managed to squeeze in our Safari ride before it was time for our ADR at Tuskar House at 10.30am!! This is an ADR I've had three visits in a row now!

I was disappointed that the photo on the way in was not with Donald anymore! We got the pick free with our photo package and last time it was one of my favourites of the whole trip

Still a nice pic though

THEN IT WAS FOOOOOOOD TIME

I started with the breads and some yogurt and granola, see that juice in the background?? In case you don't know that's Jungle Juice and it's SOOOOO GOOOOD :hungry:
