A New Voice for Figment

Suppose that Journey Into Imagination was getting a refurbishment and, for whatever reason, David Goelz is unable to reprise his role as Figment. Who do you think would provide a good voice for Figment?

I'm no expert on voice actors, but three possible candidates I thought of are Tom Kenny, Nancy Cartwright, and Tara Strong.

I find Charlie Adler to be the closet when it comes to matching up with Billy Barty original Figment voice.

I would like to see an attempt to mimick Billy Barty's original vocals.
With the right voice and today's audio trickery tools it can certainly be done.
Heck, even 'sampling' some of Billy's original recordings could be used to bring a little more life back to the physical representation of the character in the Attraction.

Before that happens however, the entire Pavilion's entertainment offerings need a serious rethinking and re-doing.
Bring on a truly imaginative ALL NEW ride-thru Attraction but harken back to the whimsy and creative spirit That was so brilliantly captured in the Original version.
Once we have that in place, then we can talk 'new voice'.

Jess Harnell might be worth auditioning.
He has the ability to create a playful tone with his voice and radiat a aura of impishness.
One of his first major voice castings jobs was performing the voice for Brer Rabbit in Disneyland's / WDW's 'Splash Mountain'.
Speed Jess's voice up a tad ( just as was done with Billy's voicework for the Original Figment ) and it might work.
