I usually don't do the whole new member spiel on forums, but I'll make an exception this time.
First of all, hello. I am Tubes. Originally from New Hampshire, currently studying and living in Orlando.
Trips to WDW:
-1997. All 3 Parks. Favorite: MGM Studios
-2003. All 4 Parks. Favorite: Epcot
-2009. Once to Epcot, twice to Magic Kingdom (once for birthday). Favorite: Epcot
Only one trip to DL and DCA, in 2005. We had old ParkHoppers from WDW and they let us use the last day in Anaheim. Since we had to cover both parks in one day, I still don't think I got the entire DL experience.
Anaheim has the better park (DL), but WDW is the better resort.
I'm a big HM, SM, and POTC enthusiast. Jungle Cruise is a guilty pleasure. SGE and MILF (really? Disney made an attraction with the initials MILF?) are iffy at best. Soarin' could use an Orlando exclusive show. World Showcase rocks the casbah.
I'm a big thrill junkie, but can appreciate theming and a good show. Having been to both Disney resorts in the US, Ceder Point is next on my must visit park list. I also have a keen knowledge of Universal Orlando, which I jokingly call "my turf" to my friends back home. It's "my turf" because I went frequently since I came down here and one of my other friends constantly vacations on WDW (ie "his turf").
Favorite rides:
-MK: Space Mountain
-EC: Test Track/Spaceship Earth
-DHS: Tower of Terror
-DAK: Safari
-DL: Pirates of the Carribean
-DCA: Soarin' Over California (Screamin' was closed)
-USF: Men in Black: Alien Attack
-IOA: Hulk Coaster/Spiderman/Dueling Dragons
-USH: Studio Tour
-Other: Superman: Ride Of Steel
Last note: I've dabbled around with Imagineering theme parks and rides. In middle school, I created an entire park around the James Bond franchise.
