WDW has always been taking a long time on making their newer characters from their latest animated films meetable compared to the 1990s and 2000s. I have no idea why though.OMG, this has been way overdue and now the time has come for the east coast to get its own M&G with Mirabel
It is primarily cost related.WDW has always been taking a long time on making newer characters from their latest films meetable compared to the 1990s and 2000s. I have no idea why though.
I mean, that wig alone likely cost $7.4 million and required 12 research trips. It is primarily cost related.
I still remember how long it took for both Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde from Zootopia to make a proper meetable appearance at WDW outside of special events and during the holiday seasons compared to Disneyland. I was more speaking about releases in the past few years that I'm familiar with, like the Marvel characters at Avengers Campus, and other M&G's throughout the parks that have coincided with movie releases. Its then up to the Parks to choose to keep and pay for those characters within the parks. What about Lilo & Stitch? I remember both characters stuck around long after the film's original release.
Wish they brought out The Flying Gauchito and Burrito from The Three Caballeros more often besides for rare events. If only Jessica Rabbit could come back to Disneyland Paris too.
