A new day....

First, thank you to all who were so supportive here yesterday. You are special people, and I am thankful for you.

It is a new day. It will be a long time before things are back to normal, but I don't want them to know they have beaten us.

With a solemn thought for those with loved ones suffering, a return to my normal duck silliness...

:)

Speaking personally, I feel that yesterday has made us all a bit closer.

In the full throws of this terror people came together, here. Here they were able to keep each other up to date with what was occuring. I personally got more information from this board yesterday than from the radio, which I found very harrowing, and at the same time made me feel that I was experiencing it at first hand too.

It felt terrible as there was nothing I could do. I just wanted to be there for you guys, and let you know it is a horror that has touched all of us, and in many ways has changed all our lives for ever.

It's funny you should say that because I was thinking that of all the places online and/or all the people in the real world I could have been talking with about all of this, it was this group I was with - a group about Disney. I feel this is true evidence that our little community has grown to be about a lot more than our favorite pastime. I value all of you in my life...
