Okay, here we go. Again I remind you, I am still "under refurbishment". Let the tour begin!

As you exit the kitchen you enter the back landing, inspired largely by the Florida exterior/Castillo del Morro...

...just as you enter into the basement, you see the "Talking Skull" I recreated from Disneyland (photographed with flash...)

At the base of the stairs....(the "Dead Mans Chest was FREE from Disney Movie Rewards-it doubles as a boombox that will eventually play a custom mixed soundtrack)

Moving further, we see this guy....
The wall treatment is taken from the Fort exterior at DLP. The floor is made from wood palettes, as during heavy rain the basement leaks, and I wanted everything elevated (it also adds to the look)

A sign recreated that I saw while touring DLP's "Adventure Isle". You can also see the wall treatment pretty well here too...

At last, the newest components! As you can tell, these guys are inspired by the Grotto/Drinking pirates scene from DLP/DL. The bar is a piece I built for a musical, the walls are more repurposed palettes, and behind the wall you can see I've installed the "Fire effect" found in the burning town scene on the ride....

Right now, we are driving about 45miles one way several times a week for all star cheer. I'll have to look that gym up when we are back in Jax. Usually I mix a dash of the expensive stuff with "generic" accents and colors but wow that thing is expensive for a TOWEL RACK! lol seriously it was, like, $250 or something

the owner sold his teams a year ago and now just coaches. now they're premier hurricane allstars in jax.

Thank you! Her room is great! Seeing it is what motivated me to finally post pics of my basement! It started out as just the landing and the base of the steps....when people saw it they were motivated to keep moving into the basement to see what else may be down there, so I realized the need for expansion! It started simple and has gone through four incarnations and keeps growing! Expanding into the basement required a LOT of work-ripping out paneling, mortaring the cracks and holes in the concrete walls, ripping out the ceiling, etc. And that was before any of the fun stuff:)
When I get a new roof on my house, I can't promise my attic won't get a haunted mansion treatment...

BTW Jones' locker shouldn't have an extra s :) I don't know if you did that on purpose, but my grammar side had to point that out lol

I would have thought so too, but here is a shot from the actual sign that inspired it, located in Adventure Isle in DLP (it was different colors when I saw it...)
