A laughing Place

Hey everyone! :wave:

I was thinking, could we have a section called "A Laughing Place"? It could be for members with a good posting history.

You could submit you name to Steve, and he could add you to the "access list".

Would that be to biased or confusing?

Just an idea!

I think we have enough of a problem with people feeling "left out" because we have the premium lounge...."VIP" sections are common places amoung all my forums..and every time it starts a "debate" of why someone isnt "Good enough"...

i like the name and idea but it should be for memebers who have accumelated a certain amount of post(i.e. u need 500 post to get ini have 558 i could get in but say some one has 332 they couldn't).

I disagree. Why do members have to feel alienated? What can you share with someone who has posted 500 posts that you can't share with someone who has 50? I could easily have 2000 posts as I've been on this site almost every day since Jan. 2001, but I don't respond to every single thread. Also, if a minimum post amount is set you're going to see people posting all kinds of crap just to get their numbers up.

No one should feel alienated. I just like the name "A Laughing Place", and so many people complain about "negativity" ( ), so let's have a place with no negativity.

Your titles change when you hit certain post counts, so why shouldn't your privliges?

So what happens if someone is part of "A laughing place" lounge, and they do become negative, do you kick them out? I'm not discounting your idea, I'm just thinking.
