Intersting concept for a Pavillion. I've got a few ideas I'd like to add if I may. Outside it would be cool to build some gigantic sundials into the sidewalk leading the to entrance, in the general pavillion area. This way kids could check out how the device works and have their picture taken and such. The gardens outside the building could be themed in an interesting way too, starting with rock and sand in the periphery of the building, with VERY short grass growing as you get closer. The nearer to the building you get, the taller the grass is, until it's eventually overtaken by young trees, and finally some very large, possibly artificial oak trees at the entrance. The concept here is that time seems to radiate from the attraction building. THis would look need and pose a unique challenge for the the greens keepers. There could also be a large fountain that flows out in two arcs on either side of the sidewalk that widens as it leaves the entrance. Thus, the water would slow down the further it gets.
Inside the building you could decorate with large screens showing time-elapse footage of various events, like tides at a beach, LA traffic, growing plants, etc. It also might be neat to have moving photographs of the various Disney parks that show how they've changed with new construction over the years. Of course, a very large children's museum kinetic clock is a must. As far as the actual attractions go, ever heard of the longitude race? Until the development of reliable, accurate, shockproof watches it was impossible to accurately determine the longitude of a vessel at sea. This made long-range non-coastal seafaring dangerous and random. Most of the European countries embarked on a quest to build a clock capable of telling time for months on a ship at sea, knowing that the first country to develop such a technology would have a distinct tactical advantage over their opponents. What ensued was a technological race not unlike the Space Race of the mid Twentieth-Century. This might be a fun premise for a man-o-war boat ride or an edutainment film/exhibit.
